EXceptional Ty Ogunkoya.......... Irresistible Super Model

Just like the fashion industry, the Nigeria modeling industry is fast getting a face in the world modeling industry. I am proud of Nigerian born super model, Akintayo Ogunkoya over his great achievement in his short modeling career. The talented dude has been gracing tons of runways since 2008, modeling world top fashion designers’ designs.
Ty’s singular features were a standout on the runway for his first full season. Exclusive for Dior this past January, he followed up with Versace, Belstaff, Costume National, Hermes, Krizia and Etro. Ty is only 19 , and was born in 1990 , in Nigeria (still looking for further info about his ethnicity , I guess he’s biracial ). Beware this guy isn"t just a pretty face , he is actually equipped with a degree in material engineering from imperial college in London and is still dealing with university which can be quite restricting for a model “i cant just jet off and work anywhere which is fustrating . Doing a levis job his polaroid got into the hands of a lovely lady called michelle from kcd New york, she passed it on and he was on a flight to ny with 20 pounds .Ty was supposed to stay for a day , but photographer david simms liked him and kept him for a week .” i actually had to sell the i pod my dad gave me for the taxi from jfk to the hotel cause i only had 20 pounds and no bank card .” Ty remembers smiling.

When being referred to as a Black Supermodel , Ty - laughing this time - replies “i wouldnt say i am a top model quite yet , there are amazing black models everywhere , and i am just following in their footsteps !”. Remember this name you ‘re goin to see him quite often during coming seasons .
