Omotola rocks Vendrika's dress at Africa International Film Festival, styled by KIC
Very early on Monday morning, 28th November, 2011, got a call from a friend and a stylist, Kelu asking if i had a lovely red dress that would suit Omotola, an outfit,which she would be wearing on thursday, 1st December 2011 to the Africa International Film Festival. Apparently, we (Vendrika) just launched our 2012 Italian leather bags over the weekend, and i was busy the precious week designing some of our latest collections, using our brand's colour 'red' and 'black', but didnt have any dress of her size. Hurriedly, i sketched some trendy designs that would suits her shapes and the ocassion and had a meeting with Kelu. We (myself and Kelu) reviewed it and finalized.
However, there wasn't any time to take Omotola's measurement, though, she says she's size 12, but because of her hip i think she is size 14. It was a short timing, we (myself and Kelu) got Omosexy's bust, waist and hip measurement, which i worked with.
The two day's sleepless night payed at last, after i took the dress to her house and saw that it fits perfectly and on the red carpet, she was indeed the best dressed celebrities, that just ease all the stressed. Of course, you might be wondering, if i design clothes too, yeah i do, presently work with Vendrika Fashion Gallery as a Creative Director and Guardian Newspapers (GuardianLife Magazine) as a Style writer.
