Elegance, style @ black ball

















PINE Park, Lekki, Lagos, on Sunday, March 20, attracted a host of celebrities, who graced the third edition of Encomium Black and White Ball.
  The event, which had a fashion show and Elegance and Style Award, saw upscale dudes and damsels from different segments of the economy donning winsome and trendy outfits.
   With the use of Da Viva prints, 11 designers displayed their latest collections; among whom were JD7, Hassan Couture, Tricia O and Iconola.
  JD7 featured feathered hat and hairpieces, which complimented her stunning and classy dresses that included one-shoulder, tube, turtle necklines dresses and others in bold colours.
  With the aim to celebrate those whose works have impacted much on the industry and made various fashion statements with their creative designs, Encomium handed out the Elesho Totem to the awardees.
    The awards, which were in 22 categories, saw Genevieve Nnaji, Nike Oshinowo-Soleye, Folorunsho Alakija and Florence Ita-Giwa winning the Most Elegant Women in their 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s categories.
   The Most Stylish men in their 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s went to Korede Robert, Lanre Oguniesi and John Obayuwana.
  Most Stylish Legislatures, male, went to Ganiyu Olarenwaju Solomon while Abike Dabiri-Erewa got for female.
  However, Lagos State governor, Babatunde Fashola took away the award for Most Stylish Governor while Toyin Saraki won the Most Elegant First Lady award.
  Other awardees include Fastest Rising Fashion Brand (Mango), Best Make-up Artist (Banke Meshida), Best Hairstylist (Make me), Best Lifestyle Editor (Betty Irabor), Best Leather Wear outfit (Levista), Best Clothier (Twice as Nice), Promoter of Style (Thisday Style), Most Dashing Celebrity Couple (Ituah and Ibidun Ighodalo), Most Influential Person in Fashion (Frank Oshodi) and others.
