Partying with ISSA

CELEBRITIES and fashionistas mingled at the fashion party hosted by Duchess boutique.
   Held at Ajose Adeogun, Victoria Island, Lagos, the shindig served as a platform to showcase the latest collection from Daniella Issa Helayel, creative designer of ISSA, Britain’s premier fashion label.
  Since 2007, the label has provided high-fashion pieces from different parts of the world and also bridged the gap between the Nigerian fashion and that of the other worlds.
  ISSA has been don by celebrities such as Kate Middleton, Madonna, Scarlett Johansson, Eva Mendes, Kelly Rowland, Naomi Campbell, Nicole Richie, Alexandra Burke and Amber Rose.

Wining with Cavalli

 
IT was fun, glitz and glamour last Thursday, as the Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos, hosted the launch of Roberto Cavalli wines and vodka in the country.
  The drinks had also been launched at different times in London, Switzerland, Germany and the US.  The event was in partnership with silverspoon Nigeria.
 It was introduced into the country to make Nigerians enjoy its premium quality.
  Dignitaries at the event, who also spent time tasting, include the wife of Lagos State governor, Abimbola Fashola; Chief Moruf Adisa, the representative of Oba Saheed Ademola, the Elegushi of Ikate land; Hon. Jumoke Okoya-Thomas; Ruth Osime, Editor, ThisDay Style; Pat Faniran; Wosilat Seriki and Taofiq Okoya.
  Others were Bobby Taylor, Yvonne Nwosu of Vonne Label, Liz Gavy of Gavyz Couture, Adauare Achumba and others.

Taste of Lagos lifestyle

THE maiden edition of Food and Lifestyle Festival was launched last week in Lagos.
   Tagged, Taste of Lagos, the launch, which held at Radiant Blu Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, attracted culture aficionados and stakeholders in the hospitality business. 
   The festival, which has taken place in over 30 cities across the globe, will hold in Lagos from December 15 to 18 at the Lagos Polo Club.
   The three-day feast will showcase 20 top restaurants in the city, Lagos traditional food show, fashion and luxury, 10 independent cultures and arts show, live music and other entertainment.
    The event with huge international following across the globe, willserve as a platform to sample different cuisines from top restaurants in Lagos, taste some local delicacies, fete with Michelin celebrity chefs, enjoy the best of wine and champagne, as well as experience world-class brands.
