Fashionising the Wedding

As friends, wishers, families and fashionistas gathered on the 26th June at The Manor Hall, Lekki, Lagos, to celebrates with the winners of NaMyWedding.com Dream Wedding Splash Competition, Oluwa Timileyin and Temitope Abiola and also to witness the first ever free wedding day, they stepped majestically into the serene environment in vibrant colours of purple, Sage Green, Fuchsia pink Aso-ebi among many others with trendy styles, designs and fabrics.
  With sophisticated and modern feel decorated and planned by Furtullah Consultant and Funke Bucknor-Obruthe’s Zapphaire events, the usherettes decked out in pink gowns and butterfly wings, hostesses and bridesmaids dressed in trendy outfits, grooms rocked in eye-catching suits and guest in gorgeous outfits and accessories.
 The climax of the Dream wedding was performance of the sensational R n B artiste Obiwon, who serenade the couple with hits from the album.


Bride and Groom
 After receiving one month of spa treatment at Venivici Spa, she walked down the aisle dazzling in her glowing skin; trendy make-up from house of Tara and her fairytale exorbitant boob tube ruffles wedding dress and accessories, which was a provided by Yes I Do Bridal.
   With radiant flux, bold and majestic steps, Temitope, walked down the passageway looking outstanding in one of the best Italian couture, GQ Model’s outfit, which was provided by Wardrobes.

Beauty and Comedy
   Arinola Adeniji, the CEO of Venivici rocked the event in a long blue puffy turtle neck-bow tie dress with a gold and chocolate bag.
 However, the comedienne Mandy, who was also the Emcee at the event, was dressed in trendy Aso Ebi v-neck damask and Ankara top embellished with sequence and stud trimmings, and simple skirt.


Hostesses and bridal train
 Hostesses graced the event in mouth-watering sage green one-shoulder corsage dress and yellow hair flower corsage.
 Bridal train also posed in a pink one-shoulder corsage dress with a purple hair flower corsage

Men in suit

  In a classy appeal, the groom men, which they tagged as SAGE posed in one button three pieces suit with pocket square. Although three pieces were out of fashion in the 80s but since the 90s they have been rocking the fashion scene. They looked unique in pink and brown damask waistcoats, pink necktie, damask pocket square, black suits.
 With double-sided straight parting, the best man looked stylish in his silver damask waistcoat, silver pocket square and two button black suit.
 John Ugbe, the general manager of IwayAfrica and the organizer of NaMyWedding also stepped in two-button navy blue strip suit, which he spiced up with a pair of white shirt and pink tie.
 Guest
   Other guests stepped out in lip smacking designs ranging from little black dress, bustier, tube, and one-shoulder dress among many others
