Spice the season, rock the street

BY OYINDAMOLA LAWAL
Sometimes it’s not easy deciding what to wear in a rainy day because there are so many things to consider.
However, there are few dresses such as military fashion, shorts, shirt-dresses, jumpsuits and harem pant that will not only make you comfortable, but also allow you to express yourself.

Military
With utilitarian touches like patch pockets and sleeve tabs to roll up the long sleeves, military dress becomes a must have. Paired with fitted silhouette, it gives a great masculine-feminine vibe. This trend that works for many women, is as easy to buy into as adding a pair of soft utility pants or khaki camp shirt into your wardrobe.
The key to keeping military looks feminine is to choose fitted shirts and jackets: it gives it more of a boy-meets-girl look than a sloppy army surplus look.

Shorts
Want to add something really new and fun to your wardrobe this season! Try shorts, in everything for every style.

Shirt dresses
Shirt-dresses are versatile and can be worn in different ways, making them one of the most useful items of clothing for the modern woman.

Jumpsuits
The jumpsuits are definitely one of the trends in 2010 and are hotter this season.
Wearing one could be difficult, however, it better to choose a style that suits your figure.

Harem pants
Harem pants, which are also called droopy crotch pants or Mc Hammer, are this season’s most surprising and inventive trend. Not only is the saggy crotch perfect for carrying items that won’t fit in your purse, it also provides added comfort for a casual day out.
